What does the word HERO mean to you? Did Gilgamesh seem heroic to you? why, why not? Discuss among yourselves, by blogging and reblogging, why you would or would not classify Gilgamesh as a hero.
Jess-The word hero to me means someone who has courage and does everything that he or she can to help others before his or herself, also someone who is looked up to for their bravery. In my opinion i think that gilgamesh would not be classified as a hero because he didnt go out of his way for anyone but himself. he did everything he could to keep himself from dieing, in the end being unsuccessful. he did nothing for anyone else,although he was sad about his friends death he still hadn't done anything to help anyone else.
